【大人英会話】Johanna先生のWhat I did for New Years!

今日はJohanna先生に年始に何をしたのか聞いてみましたよ！
英語のReading練習も兼ねて、読んでみましょう♪

For New Years, I went to Tokyo with my boyfriend. We went to Disney Sea and it was very crowded. It was so crowded that we were only able to ride 3 rides. For one of the rides, we waited 2 whole hours. Even though it was crowded, it was still super fun. The weather that day was sunny and pleasant. One of the most interesting things about Tokyo Disney Sea was hearing the Disney characters voices in Japanese.

On New Years Eve, we went to the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. There were so many people there from all over the world. On New Years Day, we went to Tsukiji and had sushi. After eating sushi, we went to the Meiji shrine. The Meiji shrine was also incredibly crowded, but not as much as I thought it would be. There were police officers there making sure the crowd moved in an orderly fashion so it didn’t take long to get to the shrine. We purchased fortunes and mine told me to not procrastinate this year. I will do my best!

All in all, Tokyo was a very fun place to spend New Years.
